Workshops

The SERENE WG will setup an annual international workshop. We will set up these workshops as autonomous workshops and eventually as a satellite event depending on the opportunities.
SERENE workshop will benefit from the fusion of the existing RISE and EFTS workshops:

The first call for participation is planned to be announced as “SERENE 08 - RISE/EFTS Joint International Workshop on Software Engineering for Resilient Systems”. It will be a two-days event, held in Newcastle upon Tyne (UK) in mid November 2008. The indicative paper submission deadline is end of June 2008.

The SERENE workshops will be co-chaired by the RISE and EFTS workshops chairs.
As for RISE, the SERENE workshop proceedings will be submitted for publication in the LNCS series (cf. Volume 4401/2007, Volume 3943/2006, Volume 3475/2005).
Some special book or journal edition may be also edited as it as been the case for EFTS (cf. http://www.worldscibooks.com/compsci/6362.html).
